The Government of Canada is going to introduce a new benefit plan called CANADA
DENTAL BENEFIT. Eligible families earning less than $90,000/Y having children under
12 years of old and do not have access to private dental insurance plan would get a tax-
free payment of $260, $390, or $650 depending upon net family income.
Maximum 2 payments will be given for each eligible child over 2 periods:
Dental care received between October 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023; and
Dental care received between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024
Applications for first period would be open on December 1, 2022
